ENROLLED NURSING AUXILIARY AT MONDIA SUNNYSIDE – PORT ELIZABETH

Mondia HealthCare requires an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary who will be based at our Mondia Sunnyside Hospital in Port Elizabeth reporting to the Unit Manager.

Are you a person that enjoys offering treatment and support for people struggling with mental health challenges: Do you care about the wellbeing of people and like to motivate people?

You will work in an environment where you will be expected to:

• Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the scope of practice
• Assess, observe, monitor and provide information about the patients’ health and behaviour to the rest of the IDT team
• Support patients with processing of therapy interventions during their daily schedule
• Facilitate patient compliance with regards to therapy activities and their daily schedule.
• Aware of Mental Healthcare act no 17 of 2002

You will form part of a nursing team that work together with Psychiatrists, Psychologists and other clinicians to combine their efforts efficiently and effectively, and in doing so achieve consistently good outcome for patients placed in our care

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

• Enrolled Auxiliary Nurse Certificate
• Registered with SANC
• 2 years or more relevant experience within a Mental Health environment advantageous
